As an additional teaching resource to complement the StoryMap Collections are four unique scheme of works. These have been tailored to KS3 teaching, highlighting the take-home messages from each collection and individual StoryMaps.
Each table has a starter and main task, and in some of the StoryMaps, has plenary activities. They also highlight some of the key geographical skills gained using each StoryMap. They have been designed for a 50 minute lesson and have been closely tied to the 2014 National Curriculum.
These tables can be found below and can be downloaded for use. They have been uploaded in a Microsoft Word format to allow teachers to adapt them if they wish.

Having these pre-made schemes of work alongside the StoryMap Collections is a massive time saver. The breakdown into starter, main task, and even potential plenary activities is brilliant – gives a really clear lesson structure.
